Encrypting file system for your application
With SolFS you can store the data in a filesystem-like container, which is protected by strong data encryption mechanisms. By encrypting the data you both protect it from the peeping eye and ensure modern security and privacy standard and regulations.
When you create a Windows, Java or Linux server or desktop application or iOS or Android mobile app, SolFS can be used to encrypt your data using AES256 algorithm, the modern standard of symmetric encryption for data. If you need advanced key management or you want to encrypt the data using public and private keys, the combination of Solid File System and SecureBlackbox, our leading security product, will let you do this as well.
In opposite to ZIP archives in SolFS you can add, delete or modify files inside without rewriting the complete storage. Deletion and modification of files in ZIP file requires that complete archive is rewritten.
