I am getting error 10060 when trying to connect to the server. How do I solve it?

Error 10060 is reported by the network layer (Windows Sockets, WinSock) and means that TCP connection has been actively refused by either the remote server or the NAT or firewall.

This can happen due to the following reasons:
a) you have specified wrong port in connection parameters and the end-point (the server) has denied connection
b) the firewall has blocked connection according to its configuration rules.

Since it's a network layer problem, the only solution is to check the address and port you are connecting to, then check network and firewall setup.
