FIPS mode in SecureBlackbox - SecureBlackbox®
It's a common requirement for software to use only FIPS-certified cryptography modules (the term is a bit incorrect but let it be so). SecureBlackbox itself is not FIPS-certified. However, on Windows it can work in so-called FIPS mode, when only FIPS-certified cryptographic modules of Windows are used for cryptography.
FIPS mode is supported for PKI, SSH, SFTP, PDF and XML. FIPS mode is NOT supported for OpenPGP, SSL/TLS, HTTPS and FTPS because of very limited set of algorithms, offered by Windows certified cryptographic modules. Also you need to note that not all versions of Windows cryptographic modules are certified.
