EldoS Corporation has released "Chrome" build of SecureBlackbox for .NET Framework . This build targets .NET CF and Mono platforms. Now developers can add security solutions to their Windows Mobile and Linux applications.
SecureBlackbox is a suite of components for developers that hide the details of low-level security protocols and algorithms in order to make networking safer.
Use of SecureBlackbox makes internet and networking software more secure by providing implementation of industry-standard algorithms and protocols. One can add PKI infrastructure capabilities, such as X.509 certificates, certificate storages, data signing and encryption using certificates. PGP key management and data signing/encryption using PGP keys options are available too. If you produce PDF documents, you can encrypt and sign them using X.509 certificates.
SecureBlackbox can also be used in order to implement SSH, SSL/TLS, FTPS, SFTP security protocols, either as client-only or client-server, in order to ensure secure access to Internet servers. It is also capable of creating and parsing MIME-compliant mail with security extensions (S/MIME and PGP/MIME).
SecureBlackbox is available at http://www.eldos.com/sbb/download/ for free evaluation. The price of single-developer license for SecureBlackbox 4.3 Standard is 559 US Dollars. Individual components of the suite (SSLBlackbox, FTPSBlackbox, HTTPSBlackbox, SSHBlackbox, SFTPBlackbox, PGPBlackbox, MIMEBlackbox, PKIBlackbox) can also be purchased separately. PDFBlackbox components are available either separately, or as a part of SecureBlackbox Professional, which costs 999 US Dollars.
"Chrome" build is created using Chrome compiler, a promising development tool for .NET Framework, which compiles Pascal source code into efficient and portable .NET managed code. read more about Chrome on Chrome homepage.
Chrome will be used as the main compiler for SecureBlackbox 5 for .NET Framework.
