I am seeing a sharing violation when deleting a folder tree withing SolFS storage using the .NET 1.1 latest version. I'm not sure how deleting a folder can cause a sharing violation, is there any way I can get more information about this problem?

Thanks.

If there are open files in directory sharing violation is possible.

I thought that but the directory is actually empty. The folder is 4 levels deep and contains no items but we consistently get the sharing violation when trying to delete it (It also happens on other folders and happens when we recreate the storage file so it doesn't look like a corrupt storage file)

It was my fault. I was using FindFirst() to determine if the path was a folder or directory which was obviously keeping a handle to the folder open.
