We're using SolFS driver edition RC1.

When you use SolFS in xp, and you delete files, they go to the recycle bin.
When you do the same in Windows Vista, it permanently deletes them.

This is unexpected, and unwanted behaviour, looks like a bug.
Will this be fixed in a nex release, or ...?
When can we expect this issue to be fixed?

Thanks in advance.

Please check what StorageCharacteristis and StorageType properties are set to. Try to set them explicitly to fixed drive.

But if I set properties to a fixed drive, my drive will no longe ruse sparse files, and grow along with my data??
Sparse files are the reason why we're using SolFS.

How come Windows xp doesn't have this problem?
With the same configuration and parameters?

There is some problem in the SolFS virtual storage implementation. We are going to fix it in the near future. And we shall notify you when it's made.

This requires emulation of physical device. Such emulation has already been added to Callback File System in version 3.0 and we are now adding it to SolFS Driver Edition. So it will be available somewhere in Summer.

In SolFS 1.5.85 (Christmas '10 edition), this is not yet supported.
Was this feature cancelled, or postponed?
Is it still in active development?

Thanks.
So, any idea you can give us when this might be?
