Dear Plas,

As you said, the storage file is corrupted. In the SolFS Explorer, from the tools menu i selected check and repair menu and selected this corrupted storage file. I got the message as "Storage file passed OK the Check and Repair Procedure.". After doing this i then used the tools menu and used the Compact submenu, to compact this storage file. But still its size remains 86 KB.

Also tell me that, while i use CheckAndRepair(0), what should be my storage state, whether it should be closed or opened?

Thanks.

Here is what I'm doing with your storage, step by step.

Storage opened in SolFS Explorer.
Menu File|Properties. Used space: 83 KB, Free space: 3 KB.
Menu Tools|Check and Repair. Progress dialog with lot of messages “Page # corrupted”, message “Storage file passed OK the Check and Repair Procedure.”
Menu File|Properties. Used space: 2 KB, Free space: 106 KB.
Menu Tools|Compact. Message “Storage compacted successfully: 106KB saved“.
Menu File|Properties. Used space: 2 KB, Free space: 0 KB.

1) I have taken your [attached] file.
2) Ran the latest version of SolFSExplorer.exe.
3) used Check and Repair command in SolFSExplorer to check the file. Check and Repair reported no problems.
4) Then I used Compact command in SolFSExplorer.
5) Closed the storage.
6) Now I can see storage size equal to 2048 bytes.

What am I doing wrong?

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski
