Can IsCorrupted property be polled while storage is open/mounted ?

Can the IsCorrupted property be polled at regular time intervals to try to detect corruption as soon as possible ?

No, it's useless. The IsCorrupted property just returns value of internal flag. This flag is set when the corruption is detected by any SolFS method. If the corruption is detected an error or exception errStorageFileCorrupted occurs.

Okay, I see, but I do not use the SolFS methods directly in my code, so I cannot capture the output. I only have a daemon process that mounts the storage, and waits until it is killed. When it is killed, it unmounts the storage to prevent corruption. So while my daemon is running, the storage can get corrupted, and I would like to catch that "event".

In the daemon process polling of IsCorrupted property may has a sense.
