I am using a modified version of the demo solfs explorer program and would like to achive the following: If a file has the file extention .txt, then the file is read and the contents are displayed to a memo box. I am having trouble understanding how to read the file and file contents WITHOUT extracting the file from the SolFS container to windows. How can I achive this please.

Do you want to display the text in your application?
Then just use SolFSStream class and read the data using an instance of this class.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, I would like to display the text of the file in my application. Are there any examples of this other than the demo app?

There are no more samples available, as SolFS doesn't contain any new concepts - it reproduces WinAPI and interfaces of VCL and .NET libraries.
