Hi, We want to hear few words regarding embedded license.
Whether we can use SOLFS in hardware devices like Blu-ray players, STB, TV's?
Whether Solfs needs more modification than current model for players, STB and TV's?

Kindly let me know what are the steps to follow!

The possibility to use SolFS on the media depends on capabilities of hardware to run custom code, i.e. compile SolFS code (written in ANSI C) for the firmware in question. In general SolFS source code is very portable and can be used on almost any 16-, 32- or 64-bit system (8-bit system most likely won't do). For each custom platform the modification required are the ones that control reading and writing to the backend medium (disk, filesystem cloud etc). There are not much modifications needed there. Another aspect is memory management - embedded system often have quite a few memory and SolFS needs about 1 Mb of memory to work.

To use SolFS on custom system you will need SolFS source code and C compiler for the target platform. Also you need to purchase a license for Embedded use of SolFS. It's a good idea to make a copy of the toolkit available to us for testing -- if something goes wrong on the custom platform and this something is not reproducible on Windows, we will need some way to reproduce this problem, and having a copy of the toolkit and a test hardware help a lot.

Sincerely yours
