Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to set a password without using encryption? I just want to avoid anybody to open my storage files without the password. I don't want encryption because it will slow down read and write operations.

It's not possible and it doesn't make much sense as this can be circumvented easily.

Encryption shouldn't slow down the operations significantly, at least in most usage scenarios

Sincerely yours
