Hello

I'm able to copy the font file on to the SOLFS system. I'm also able in using it in applications such as Word and excel.

The problem is the font is not working as it is expected to and is giving a normal font. Is this any thing to do with the Encryption and Decription process??

Obvious thing to try is to copy the font file to non-encrypted disk and see if it works there. This way you will know what's up - either you are not using encryption right or the font on SolFS disk is not visible to the system correctly.

Do we need to use the Read() function to read the files in the stream.. I haven't done this

You don't need to do anything artificial after mounting a storage -- when the storage is mounted, it's no different from any other disk in your system. Applications can read and write it, create and delete files and directories etc. . Your own application can use both Windows API and SolFS API functions to work with files and directories on mounted SolFS storage.

If you used whole-storage encryption, then you need to provide a valid password to the storage when mounting it.

I've set ProcessRestrictionEnabled to true.

m_Storage.ProcessRestrictionsEnabled = true;

m_Storage.AddGrantedProcess("WINWORD.EXE",true);

Does this code allow access for the winword application? I tried but its not working.

My solfsstream constructor:

SolFSStream m_Stream = new SolFSStream(m_Storage, file, true, true, true, false, false, "", SolFSEncryption.ecNoEncryption, 1)

Please help!

The code seems to be correct from the first glance. And does font loading from SolFS volume work when you don't restrict access?

Hello

What is the name of mounting point which you have used and in which way Word application uses the files on the SolFS volume?

I've used "X:" as the mounting point name.

AddFontResource() function is called so that these fonts are added on to Word applications.

Can you please check with ProcMon utility (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sy.../bb896645) which processes in which way access to SolFS volume during AddFontResource() function call?
