Does the SolFS OS version allow -

1. File specific AES encryption key that the application can provide ?
2. Call back functions where the application can specify the level of access on a file. e.g. In a multidocument application, all files may not be allowed to a given user. User may have some files with READONLY rights while some files with READ-WRITE permissions while some others may be NOT-ACCESSIBLE to him. Is it possible to implement this through some kind of call back mechanism ? This will also allow the application to perform more "logical" validations before allowing access to the user on the file.

The key is created based on the "passphrase" that you specify and some extra data to increase security. You can set per-file encryption using SetFileEncryption method, and then you can use a separate passphrase for each file. Alternatively you can use callback mode to implement encryption yourself. Read more about callback mode (all 3 articles apply).

This is in the plans and will definitely be implemented, though we don't have an exact time-frame for this. At the moment you can use CallbackFilter in conjunction with SolFS OS edition for fine-grain access control.
