Evaluating SolFS for replacing the file system interface in order to support certain use cases of the tool. Have few queries to ask -

1. Support for Solaris & IBM
2. Multiple users accessing the different files(streams) from the single st file.
- On the same machine
- Across machines
3. Multiple users accessing the same files(streams) from the single st file.
- On the same machine
- Across machines
4. Read one of the appends on the forum about using one storage - stream pair, to be able to correctly block multiple writes through multiple threads. Kindly elaborate or point to documentation.

Looking forward for a response.

Thank you for your interest in our products. SolFS doesn't meet your requirements, sorry. You can't access the storage file for writing from several different processes (on one or several computers). The only exception is OS edition on Windows which exposes the storage as a virtual disk and then your applications can access the virtual disk as if it were a real file system.

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski
