It would be really nice to have some kind of progress for the compact operation. Sometimes this operation takes a very long time. Eugene, you stated in an early post (http://www.eldos.com/forum/read.php?FID=8&TID=1432) that OnProgress is supposed to be called during the compact operation, but it is not.

Maybe there's a problem specific to some usage scenario. As I understand you use callback mode, don't you?

Sincerely yours

yes, I'm using callback mode with custom encryption. I thought perhaps it might be something with my specific case but the ProgressOperation is defined as:

TProgressOperation = (poFormating, poChecking1, poChecking2, poChecking3,
poChecking4, poChecking5, poFileToStorage, poStorageToFile,
poPageCorrupted, poPageOrphaned, poDeleting);

there is not a "poCompacting" enumeration.

Alex Plas said that there's some problem with reporting progress in driver edition and this will be addressed in the next update.

Great, Thank you. Do you have any idea on when the new update will be released?
