Hello,

I am using the ClientSSLSocket and have made a connection to a secure server (TLS v1.0 protocol) and received some intial data after the connection has been established. I then send a command. At this point the connection is still ESTABLISHED. I then call BeginReceive and ManualResetEvent.WaitOne(). At this point the Error event on ClientSSLSocket fires with code 75777, Fatal = True, Remote = False.

What would be causing this UNEXPECTED_MESSAGE error? Surely I am expecting a response? The ClientSSLSocket.Available shows as 1, and the ClientSSLSocket.Socket.Available shows as 27, but I cannot access it.

If anyone can offer an explanation for this kind of error, I would be grateful!

Thanks

The ERROR_SSL_UNEXPECTED_MESSAGE error is usually returned if a packet of wrong type has been received by ElClientSSLSocket. Would you be so kind to provide us the following details about the problem:
1. What is the value of Remote parameter of the OnError event,
2. Does the problem occur on every connection to server or from time to time?

It would be great if you provide us the code you are using.
