I have tried gutting the SimpleSSH demo for VS 2005 and came up empty. Right now it stops at client.Open(). There is no error, it just hangs there. I need some assistance. Here is a sample of what I have.
client.Address = address;
client.Port = 22;
client.Username = un;
client.Password = pw;
client.Versions = 0;
client.ForceCompression = false;
client.AuthenticationTypes = client.AuthenticationTypes & (~SBSSHConstants.Unit.SSH_AUTH_TYPE_PUBLICKEY);

Console.WriteLine("Connecting to ftp.govconnect.com ...");
try
{
client.Open(); \\Just hanges here. I dont know what it is doing.

}
catch (Exception e)
{
Console.WriteLine("SSH connection failed", e.ToString());
}

1) You turned off all the supported protocol versions. Please remove the following line:
client.Versions = 0;

2) Use OnError event to track protocol errors.
