Hello,

we want to switch our application (.NET 1.1, C#, SBB v5.2.124) from synchronous to asynchronous ElServerSSLSocket usage. Unfortunately, no client connection are being accepted by the BeginAccept method. No exceptions are thrown and no events are raised.

Your "SSLSocketDemo" sample suffers from the same issue. After enabling asynchronous operation mode on the server side no client connections are being accepted. Whereas the problem vanishes after switching the server to synchronous operation mode. In both cases it doesn't matter if the client is operating asynchronously or synchronously.

What can be done?

Cheers, Christian

The attached assembly won't work as it's version 5.2.0.117. We need version 5.2.0.124.

Sorry to bother you again, but... The assembly is not strong named. That's why I cannot use it within our application. We need a strong named version 5.2.0.124.

Hello, I have the same problem, but I want to use net 2.0.
But first, with your assembly to the Net 1.1:
I've downloaded the assembly and tried to run it with your sample "SSLSocketDemo\Server", but it didn't help.
I tried to connect from web browser, and in asynchronous mode
at the server side the event OnSSLSocketAcceptCallback isn't fired.
When I close the browser, on the server I've got following exception:

Cannot access a disposed object.
Object name: 'System.Net.Sockets.Socket'.

In synchronous mode all works fine.

Sincerely
Janusz
