Hi, I'm trying to make an application to digitally sign pdf documents with private keys and my problem is that the csp provider that I use is Schlumberger and when I test the application the message is that the smart card that have the private key is always busy. I try with a private key in local computer and it works perfectly, so I search in the documentation and I found that Schlumberger csp is not in the list. anyone has any sugestion to solve this problem?

tks

we don't list any particular CSPs cause this makes little sense - there are many (hundreds) of CSPs and even more versions of them and we can't test them all.

Unfortunately I am not sure that I understand the actual problem. Does the call to some method hang or it returns the error code or is it something else?

Sincerely yours

the problem is that it find the smart card, but it says that's the smart card isn't available. I already had this problem in another project and I solve it choosing explicitly the the schlumberger provider. the attachment show what happens.

tks

Unfortunately, "it says that's the smart card isn't available" is not something we can work with. Would you be so kind to provide us the following information:
a) during execution of which method the message dialog is shown?
b) are some exception thrown during signing process?
c) does the same problem appear with other PDF signing utilities (e.g., Acrobat)?

It would be excellent if you send us the chunk of your code that performs the signing.

b) no

c) no, I have no problems with other pdf signing utilities

Please try to sign the document with TinySigner demo application (simply ignore the window that asks you to choose a CSP). Is the document signed successfully? Is any exception thrown?

Yes -- it is included to the distribution (please see %INSTALLDIR%\Samples\C#\PDFBlackbox) directory.

Is the token inserted during this operation?
