Hello,

I am new to this product. I've just downloaded the evaluation for SecureBlackBox (.NET) and am trying to run the samples. I have changed the license key according to the documentation. Then I run the SimpleSigner example (under the XMLBlackbox folder). I have construct the XML as follow:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Envelope xmlns="urn:envelope">
<Data>
Hello, World!
</Data>
</Envelope>

Once I run the sample and load the XML, it keeps getting an error "Charset ID: iso-8859-1:TPlISO_8859_1\" not defined in resource"

Does anyone has any idea?

Thanks a lot!
Ben

Thank you for pointing at the problem. The samples were missing SecureBlackbox.Charset in references. They (samples) have been updated and new build will include the updated code.

Sincerely yours

Hi Eugene,

I have included the reference. Same error occurred. I have studied the SecureBlackbox.Charset class, and find that the iso-8859-1 is missing. I think this is the cause of the error. Do you have any idea how I can trick my computer to use other charset?

Thanks.

ISO-8859-1 is inside the assembly. Another question is why it can't be loaded/used. The developer is working on this now.

Please keep me updated on the issue as I have to decide whether I am going to purchase the product or not within a day or two.

Many thanks.

Hi Eugene,

We have figured the issue on our side. The problem is the XML file format that we use. It is saved as ANSI format, and so give us the error. When we save it to UTF-8 format, the problem goes again.

Anyway, thank you for your help. :)

Hi,

I am getting the same error, when I am trying to open a word doc in silverlight using the code snippet picked up from the windows sample app -

var _OfficeDocument = new TElOfficeDocument();
_OfficeDocument.Open(_fileStream);

The .Open call is throwing exception with similar error message.

I have added all the required references from the Silverlight_3 folder per the windows app.

A quick response will be much appreciated as we are conducting a POC based on this app and if it works out well we will be doing a quick purchase.

What will be more helpful is a running sample app in Silverlight that loads a word document and signs it. Can you provide with such kind of app?

Thanks.

Thank you for contacting us.

Could you please clarify, are you getting *exactly the same* error message?

Thanks for the prompt response. Basically, I am trying to load a openxml word (docx) document in Silverlight and then sign it.
I referred to the sample app for windows and I wrote these lines of code -

var openFileDialog = new OpenFileDialog
{
Filter = "Windows Word (.doc, *.docx)|*.doc;*.docx",
FilterIndex = 1,
Multiselect = false
};

// Call the ShowDialog method to show the dialog box.
var userClickedOk = openFileDialog.ShowDialog();

// Process input if the user clicked OK.
if (userClickedOk == true)
{
var fileStream = openFileDialog.File.OpenRead();
}

var _OfficeDocument = new TElOfficeDocument();
_OfficeDocument.Open(_fileStream);

But, I get exception on line _OfficeDocument.Open(_fileStream);
The exception is attached along.

Pl note, I am using Silverlight 3 dlls.
