No, problem is active mode. In active mode client chooses port, which is then used by server for data channel open. Problem is if nobody can control what port client listens on and offers to server to connect. Server tries to open the data channel but the port is not open in firewall on client side, because administrator on client's side doesn't know what port to open. Question is - how to control the port selection for active mode on client side (SimpleFTPSClient).

The actual question is why should one use Active mode when he can us passive mode and avoid the trouble.

The answer is simple. We are developing for a client who wants active mode with port definition.
