I want to decrypt a message without using a keyring file but only a user key.
I Encrypt a message with a key from PGPDesktop, and I want to decrypt the message with BlackBox. I save my key on a file (.asc), but I can't see how to load a key in BlackBox. All samples and help refer to the Keyring.

Thanks

You need to load this single key into the keyring using Keyring's Load method.

I try the load method, but I always received Invalid keyring packet sequence error.
Do you have more details or samples on how to use the load method with a specific key?

Thanks

Please try to decrypt a message with PGPFiles demo application. Does it return the same error?

I find a way to do it. I have modified the demo PGPFiles to detect and load key if the extension is .asc and use the loadfromfile method.

Dim lPublicKey As New TElPGPPublicKey
lPublicKey.LoadFromFile(Me.tbPubKeyring.Text)
keyring.AddPublicKey(lPublicKey)

Dim lSecretKey As New TElPGPSecretKey
lSecretKey.LoadFromFile(Me.tbSecKeyring.Text)
keyring.AddSecretKey(lSecretKey)
