I try to download file in FTP Passive mode from SecureBlackbox FTP Server.

Both my FTP Sewrver app and SecureBlackbox sample project, CPU usage up to 90%.

Is any way to control the CPU usage ?

PS: FTP Client is FileZilla

The server provides the data as fast as it can, and on fast networks CPU load will be significant.

Did you do any profiling of your server to see, what processes / threads / operations take the most time?

Hi Eugene

The CPU usage is 0% when FTP SERVER stand-by.

4~10% when client login.

1~5% when browse folder.

10~20% when download file(1kb x 100) in avtive mode.

40~90% when download file(1kb x 100) in passive mode.

It will helpful if can control the CPU usage of passive mode download file.

Thank you very much for your investigations. I have moved your question to the HelpDesk for further investigations. Maybe we need to do some socket tune-up.

Sincerely yours
