OpenPGPBlackbox PGPKeysDemo RSA subkey not created?

I'am evaluating the OpenPGPBlackbox and was trying to create keys. The PKPKeys demo allows to select between RSA, Elgamal and ECDSA. Creating a RSA key will create a new key, but the created key does not contain an encryption subkey.

Imported RSA PGP keys generated with other tools by default contain a subkey, as do Elgamal and ECDSA keys generated by the PGPKeys demo.

Is that a bug (in the demo?) or a general limitation?

Hi Christian,

Thank you for contacting us.

It's just a limitation of the sample, which generates legacy RSA keys by default. Please use the two-algorithm overload of the TElPGPSecretKey.Generate() method to generate an RSA key with a subkey:

SecretKey.Generate(passphrase, bits, SBPGPConstants.Unit.SB_PGP_ALGORITHM_PK_RSA, bits, SBPGPConstants.Unit.SB_PGP_ALGORITHM_PK_RSA_ENCRYPT, username, 0);
