Hello:

I am just reading the help for ExitStatus:
https://www.eldos.com/documentation/sbb/documentation/ref_cl_simplesshclient_prp_exitstatus.html

How does one check for success? What are the ExitStatus values?

Thanks

ExitStatus, ExitSignal and ExitMessage is what the server sends when the tunnel connection is closed.

SSH is a layered protocol, where individual *logical* connections (read "tunnels") are created and deleted for certain operations.

There's no defined list of status messages or codes. The values depend on the tunnel type, actual server behavior and other factors.

For better understanding of what you can get it's better to run the client in different scenarios (execute a remote application, etc) and see what is actually returned.

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski
