Hello,

How can I monitor (and log) the cleartext traffic that goes through the HTTPS client component ?

Unfortunately there's no way to do this at the moment.

Ok, thank you for answering.

Is there any plan to implement this in the near future ?

I don't think it makes sense to implement this and here's why: we have quite a few components which send and receive the data. If we add this functionality to one of them, we would need to do this for all components. And this is quite a lot of time without any obvious benefit. We better invest time to more important things such as ECC.

Well, I could argue that, when implementing communication with 3-rd parties that do not publish a rigorous protocol documentation on an implemented interface (like many banks), having access to the cleartext data stream is a necessary features. But in understand.

Thank you for answering.

I think it would be easier for you to just modify the source code and create such events yourself. Actually, you can use RawOutput to capture everything the component receives from the remote side.
