Thank you for contacting us.

Ready to use test keys can be found in the next folder: \EldoS\SecureBlackbox.NET\Extra\PGPKeys.

You can also generate new keys using GnuPG, PGP or our samples.

Many thanks for the reply

I have now deployed my web app to a DEMO server. Reading from the .CHM help file Deployement --> Deployment of .NET components I have copied the SecureBlackbox.PGP.dll and SecureBlackbox.dll to the BIN folder.

However I am getting the error :

Could not load file or assembly 'SecureBlackbox.PGP, Version=,

Do I need to put the asemblies in the GAC

My server is windows server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5

Best Regards

I copied the wrong dll's (asp.net) to the bin folder

I have now copied the correct dll's (NET_451_Desktop) and my DEMO is now working.

Sorry for the posting in haste. I should have read the error message in detail.

Best Regards

The interesting part is in the second sentence of the error message. The system finds some assembly but it's not the assembly your project references (maybe different version or a different signature).

You need to do the following:
1) check that your target system doesn't have other versions of SecureBlackbox (eg. in the GAC)
2) ensure that you deploy the assemblies which are actually referenced and linked.

Possibly you would need to add the assemblies to the GAC, but this depends on whether the server is configured to allow loading of the assemblies locally (from the application directory).

Sincerely yours

Many thanks for the quick reply

I had copied the wrong dll's. After I copied the correct dll's, my demo is now working.

While my company is preparing the necessary paper work through the procurement team to acquire a developer licence for Open PGP Black Box, is it possible to have the trial extended for 4 more weeks please.

After I have called DecryptAndVerify method on an instance of TElPGPReader, is it possible to wire up an event to know the progress of the decryption.

This is so I can update the user (in a asp.net mvc environment) about the progress of the decryption.

We have files in the region of 1.5gb to 2GB which may take a while to decrypt.

My environment is asp.net mvc

Please use the TElPGPReader.OnProgress event to track the progress of the decryption operation.
