Hi

If I have a certificate already defined in "FCert" variable, how can I sign a string using it ? The RSA algorithm and BASE64 format should be used.

Type of FCert is TElX509Certificate

Thanks in advance

Hi Eduardo,

Thank you for contacting us.

If you are speaking about PKCS#1-based signing, please have a look at the PKIBlackbox/Primitives/SignDetached sample, which illustrates the use of TElRSAPublicKeyCrypto component for raw data signing. Set the OutputEncoding property to pkeBase64 to get the output in Base64 form.

The key material of the certificate (which is supposed to be assigned to the TElRSAPublicKeyCrypto.KeyMaterial property) can be obtained via the TElX509Certificate.KeyMaterial property.

Ken

I saw the example and it works like expected (so far).

My requirements does not ask about PKCS#1 but I think you have solved my problem.

Thanks for the quick answer
