Hi,
I wanted to update my old Eldos SSB and now the demo HTTPSClient makes an error (Property ForecResumeIfDestinationChanges is missing) when I hit F9 with my Delphi 7. I deinstalled the old one by Remove Programms and found no *BBox*.bpl in sysWoW64 anymore.
Then I installed the latest version. I think there is a property missing.
It lies on TElHTTPSCLient ! The Icon in the Palette is missing! But in the installed componets there is the icon.
What should I do?
thanks

Hi Walter,

This is apparently an installation conflict issue. May I please ask you to install the product once again from scratch. Please do the following:

1. Close all running Delphi instances. Please check that there are no unclosed background delphi32.exe processes with Task Manager, and terminate all of them if there are any.

2. Uninstall all existing SecureBlackbox installations via the Add and Remove Programs applet of the control panel.

3. Search for orphan *BBox* and SB*.dcu files on entire hard disk. If any entries are found, please remove them manually.

4. Install the latest SecureBlackbox version from scratch.

The components should be installed correctly now.

Dear Sir,
I just realized that the HTTPCLient is now under SSLBlackBox.
There I see ElHTTPSCLIENT.

BUT When I compile I get the Error that
Property ForceResumeIfDestinationChages does not exists.

It is strange, that the same unit works under D7 ON ANOTHER PC fine.
What can I do?

-> Now I downgraded to SSB 11 and ignored the Errors with my unit.
Then I can compile. I see that this property of HTTPSCLIENT is new in SB12.

thanks

Please help me, I think it has something with the runtime lib to do.
I want to use SBB12.
thanks

Ken has described the steps to take. After that you seem to have one problem with the missing property (which I can't find in SBB 12 source code anyway). Is this the only problem you are having now?

I found the problem. in the virual store there was always a copy of ELDOS last version. Its the UAC! I deleted it and now it works like a charm!
Thanks for help!

PS: it was a typo: the property in SBB12 is ForceResumeIfDestinationChanges
and is in ElHTTPSCLIENT
