Hi
We use the SecureBlackbox ActiveX/DLL component with VB6. We use this for communicating with an openssl server. We have this working in production. For security reasons we had to turn off SSLV2, SSLv3 and TLS1 on the openssl server. After this change the UI throws an error when connecting to the server.if we enable TLS1.0 on the server and disable SSLv2 and SSLv3 it works fine. Looks like it does not like TLS1.0 turned off.

We use the SSLBlackBoxCli7.dll with version number 7.0.0.156. The error says invalid key.

Does that version support newer versions of TLS?

Version 7 of SecureBlackbox includes constants for TLS 1.1 and 1.2, but it's possible that there exist compatibility issues.

There's no sense to disable TLS 1.0 at the moment.

Also we've dropped ActiveX support 2 versions ago (SecureBlackbox 10 was the last version to have ActiveX edition). We recommend migrating to .NET or C++ edition depending on your programming environment.

How do we upgrade to SecureBlackbox 10.0? Maybe we can try that out and see if it works with that version.
