I think you need to contact server admin and ask how exactly OpenSSH is set to handle PGP authentication. OpenSSH doesn't include built-in support for PGP auth, but there are custom modules that support PAM (pluggable authentication module) architecture and it's possible that some PGP PAM was added.

Hi Eugene,

I have contacted the server administrator and also he says that OpenSSH doesn't support PGP. So he asks to me if I have the ability to generate a public/private keypair. Can you help me? How I can comunicate to him the key?

Thank you very much

Stefano

You can generate a keypair using SSHKeys demo, included with SecureBlackbox.

I have generated a keypair with SSHKeys demo. So I will send to server administrator the private key. But where in the code I have to insert the public or private key to exceed the authentication?

Thank you very much

You give PUBLIC key to other people. You never disclose the private keys. And you load the private key to ElSSHKey object in order to use it for authentication.

Hi Eugene,

I have generated the private key with SSHKeys Demo.
So I read the key from a file but it give me the follow error:
SB_ERROR_SSH_KEYS_FILE_READ_ERROR 3331 (0x0D03) error of reading from file

The way I use to read the private key by my Client is the follow:

StreamReader objReader = new StreamReader("c:\\PrivateKEY");
string strPrivateKey = objReader.ReadToEnd();

TElSSHKey key = new TElSSHKey();
int intResultPublic = key.LoadPrivateKey(strPrivateKey, strPassKey);

Many Thanks

Stefano

Try loading the key using the sample. StreamReader might be reading incorrect text.
