Simple question.

Is there any options/properties to overwrite existing compressed .zip file or do we need to check if the file exists, and then compress?

I don't want to write any more code than necessary.

I'm using TElZipWriter.

Thank you!

Depends on the method. If you call Compress(FileName) method, and `Filename` file exists, OnUserActionNeeded event is triggered and your code can tell the component, what to do - abort the operation or ignore the problem. If you choose "Ignore", the file is overwritten.
