Now I see. TElSimpleFTPSServer doesn't let you specify such things. All in all, it's a *simple* component. You can use TElFTPSServer and build your own socket infrastructure.

So this might sound like the ultimate solution...it is not an option
We choose the SBB Component so we didnt had to invent the wheel NEW...
And its not in Time and/or budget....

So the bottom line is: The SimpleFTPs Server is not able to help us solving that problem.

You have very specific configuration. Given that you have the source code, you can extend or rework the components yourself. We can enhance it as well as a custom service.

So this would be the next steps.
We have to calculate the costs for customizing the SimpleFTPsServer
Do i have access to the SourceCode of the SimpleFTPsServer ?

Idea would be to extend the existing Version of the SimpleFTPServer.

Hi,
we figured out some other problem. If the Server acts on a NLB adress:

e.g.:
10.0.0.3
here the ftp listener (port21) is binded on

the servers have adresses: 10.0.0.4 and 10.0.0.5

When the ftp session is initialized to the NLB adress 10.0.0.3:21 the server answers from 10.0.0.4 (the direct server address) in active mode. In passive mode all works fine, because the client send the PORT command with the clients IP Address. But in passive mode the server sends the port command with the 10.0.0.4 address.

Is there a way to controll this behavior with SimpleFTP? We want that the server sends the port command with a specified address (here 10.0.0.3).

Thank you

Set PassiveModeAddress property to "10.0.0.3", that should be enough.

Hi,
thank you for the answer. Does the SimpleFTP supports RFC 2428 explicit the extended passive mode where only the port is returned to the client, not IP + Port?

Thank you
