The latest documentation for TElXMLEncryptor states that it has a property named EncryptionMethod which is of type TElXMLEncryptionMethodType. However, on the class itself this property is of type short and there seems to be no property on this class of type TElXMLEncryptionMethodType?

Using Secureblackbox .NET 11.0.243.0.

Indeed documentation needs updating. Added to bug tracker.

For .NET the type is short and the constants are

Code
  xem3DES       = SmallInt(0);
  xemAES        = SmallInt(1);
  xemCamellia   = SmallInt(2);
  xemDES        = SmallInt(3);
  xemRC4        = SmallInt(4);
  xemSEED       = SmallInt(5);

For VCL the type is
Code
TElXMLEncryptionMethod = (xem3DES, xemAES, xemCamellia, xemDES, xemRC4, xemSEED);

Sincerely yours

Is there no support for AES-GCM which seems to be preferred to normal AES according to http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/REC-xmlenc-core1-20130411/#sec-AlgID due to some security problems with AES CBC (if I have understood things correctly).

If not supported, do you have any plans on implementing it?

It is not supported at the moment.
I think, we can add support of AES-GCM algorithm in one of the next builds.
