TElXMLVerifier.SignatureType is 0 when it should be 4?

I'm using the TElXMLVerifier to verify an XML signature of an XML document that is signed using the Enveloped signature type. But after loading the XML document, the SignatureType property reads 0, which is not listed as a valid value. It should be 4 according to the documentation.

This problem appears when the XML document (its root element) is signed using an asymmetric key. If the document is signed using HMAC, this property appears to have the correct value, as well as if the Enveloping signature type is used.

Any ideas on why this is?
