Hi there,

I'm using your HTTP Get sample code to make a request to an IPv6 web server, but am a little confused as to how this should be entered. Could you advise how I should enter an IPv6 address please?

Thank you for contacting us.

First of all you should turn TElHTTPSClient.UseIPv6 on. Then you may call its Get method with parameters like: http://[2001:0db8:11a3:09d7:1f34:8a2e:07a0:765d].

Hi Vsevolod,

I've added a line "HTTPSClient.UseIPv6 = true;" directly before the "HTTPSClient.Get(URL);", but I'm now getting the exception of a connection error, code 96260 and I see no request going out over Wireshark. The address I'm making the request to shows in the URL parameter as:

I see this error code mentioned elsewhere on these forums occurring with invalid characters being passed, but don't understand what could be wrong with this character set...?

What SecureBlackbox edition do you use (VCL, .NET etc.)?
