Hey there,

i have the following problem with my FTPSServer implementation:
I configured a jMeter Load Test with 10 FTP Uploads (10 different User, 10 different Files) wich will run at the same time.

Sometimes all Threads run positiv, but most of the time i have 1 or 2 out of 10 errors:
java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

Any idea what possibly could go wrong ?
I also get this Problem, when i use those load tests with the Eldos FTPS Server Example provided by Eldos.

Regards
Martin

Thank you for contacting us.

Which version of SecureBlackbox are you currently using?
If you use version 10, it has a very short backlog (the queue of pending incoming connections) and use of version 11 is strongly recommmended.

Sincerely yours

Hello Eugene,

many thanks for the fast reply.
We are using the newest Release (11) now.

Same Problem, still getting those Connection reset.
That also happens in the FTPSServer Sample Application.
10 parallel COnnections with the PUT Command.
Error is with different Users in different test runs.

More ideas ?
Thank You !

I've overlooked the fact that you've been using .NET edition (I was confused by your message mentioning Java).

In .NET edition the socket uses backlog of 1, which is not enough for TElSimpleFTPSServer component. We will fix this for the next build.

The builds are made every 3-4 weeks, but we had one just a week ago. So it's about 2-3 weeks until the next build.

We have a couple of things to do but we hope to either complete them by friday or postpone them to after the build. So there will be a build on saturday.
