Hi everyone,

I've been testing the PKCS7 Sample which is included with the software (with the demo LiceseKey), and I'm having some troubles to understand some parts of it.

I explain my case:

1. I run Messages Demo (the C# Version).
2. I choose the Digitally sign file option.
3. Then "Add Certificate" button (I pick up my .pfx certificate and write the password).
4. Finally I choose my XML Input file to be signed and an Output XML file with the signature (about to be created on the signature process).
5. It seems to finish the process correctly, but when I try to open the output file I don't get a signed XML. I see random characters instead and I can't open it with any program.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you so much.

Thank you for contacting us.

Indeed the sample produses binary output as its defined in PKCS#7 standard.

You should try a sample that is located in \EldoS\SecureBlackbox.NET\Samples\C#\XMLBlackbox\Signer folder.
