Our application written in PHP running on linux requires to sign PDF documents using key stored in Lunasa HSM.

How to use Secure Black Box with PHP application to sign PDF documents? Pointers to any samples would be appreciated.

Hello Rishabh,

Thank you for contacting us.

As far as I understand, you will need to create an external PHP module (.so) and use it from your PHP code. An important thing to consider here is that the HSM vendor must provide a working PKCS#11 driver for Linux OS - you won't be able to access the HSM otherwise.

The .so itself can be based on SecureBlackbox VCL edition (and compiled with FreePascal) or SecureBlackbox C++ edition (compiled with gcc), whichever you prefer.

Generally, we do have plans of porting SecureBlackbox to PHP, but that is definitely not the matter of the nearest future.
