Hello,

I am having an issue doing a file pull from my SecureBlackBox FTPS worker role in Azure. The FTPS worker role stores files (FTP put) into blob storage just fine. However, when I try to pull the files via FTP, I'm having a few issues.

When I pull text files, I get a file with 0 bytes of data
When I pull html files, the file pulls with data, but is missing some data
When I pull .csv files, all data is pulled correctly.

Any ideas why this is happening or what I need to add to my code to make this work properly?

Thanks,

Tom

Hello Tom,

Thank you for contacting us.

Could you please send us an FTP connection log originating from the FTP client that corresponds to a problematic transfer?

Sure. Here I am trying to pull a file called nestat.txt. The file is 32 bytes in size. Strange thing is that it looks like it goes through a security validation again before transferring data. Maybe because of the TLS. Anyway, see the connection log below.

Hi.
Strange is that it should establish TLS for file transfer connection but it doesn't.
Which version of SBB FTPS server you are using?
And can you please provide a log of successfull transfer?

We are using SecureBlackbox FTPS Version 10.0.233.0

Here is a log from one that works. It is a 266 byte .csv file.

Thanks, looks the same.
As I understand, you use custom storage/file system adapter to access your data.

1) Is it possible that any exception is thrown during operations with blob storage? In such case session thread will be terminated
2) Can you do other operations via the same connection after you downloaded zero-size file?
