I, I need to encrypt for someone who have pgp 2.6. I tried a lot of parameter but it doesn't work properly.
He can decrypt and read my file but some character are not correct. He said to me to not encrypt in binary mode.
It works if I dont have character like 'é' (french)
My parameters are:
pgpWriter.Compress = False
pgpWriter.Armor = True
pgpWriter.ArmorBoundary = "PGP MESSAGE"
pgpWriter.SymmetricKeyAlgorithm = 1
pgpWriter.UseNewFeatures = False
pgpWriter.UseOldPackets = True
pgpWriter.Filename = nouveaufichier
pgpWriter.SigningKeys = secreteKeyring
pgpWriter.EncryptingKeys = publicKeyring
pgpWriter.EncryptionType = SBPGP.TSBPGPEncryptionType.etPublicKey
pgpWriter.Timestamp = DateTime.Now
pgpWriter.InputIsText = True
pgpWriter.TextCompatibilityMode = True

Anybody can help me?

There can be problems with using text mode and non-ASCII characters. This is not SecureBlackbox's problem as it doesn't perform charset conversion in PGP components. You need to either not use non-ASCII characters, or use binary mode.

Ok, I was able to encrypt with pgp 6.5 in command line. But using pgp 6.5 on web is difficult so I want to use your product.

I want my file to be in text mode, not in binary.
even if i put
pgpWriter.InputIsText = True
pgpWriter.TextCompatibilityMode = True
pgpWriter.UseNewFeatures = False
pgpWriter.UseOldPackets = True ,
They tell me that my file is in binary mode.
What property should I set to be in text mode?
Thanks

Ask them what they mean by text mode then. If they want an armored file, then use Armor property as you did in thefirst post.
