I am terribly sorry for the delay with your inquiry. In Silverlight applications you should explicitly let SecureBlackbox know that your application has access to and intends to use elevated permissions. This is done by setting the ElevatedPermissionsAvailable flag from SBUtils namespace to true:

SBUtils.Unit.ElevatedPermissionsAvailable = true;

This setting should fix the issues you are coming across.
