Tried searching the forum this morning but it's kicking back DB errors today.
I'm hoping this is just simple - how does one go about sending control key sequences via the SSH client interface? For instance I spawn a shell and run a "tail -f" command and I want to terminate it and open another file - rather than tearing down the entire shell and rebuilding another, I'd like to just send a CTRL-C across and spawn another "tail -f" command for a different file path.
I tried plinking around with .senddata and .sendtext with key codes for this but it doesn't seem to have the desired effect. The help topics don't address this anywhere that I can find...

got it - in my case senttext (chr(3)) does the trick for ctrl-C to terminate the process. Thought I'd tried it before but apparently not...
