Hi
Just today I have installed SBB 10 on clean PC. When I start PKI samples I get following error:
Quote

Error opening storage: C:\WINDOWS\system32\aetpkss1.dll
PKCS#11 error CKR_ARGUMENTS_BAD in function C_GetSlotList

This exception is thrown from this code
Code
        private void OpenStorage()
        {
            m_storage = new TElPKCS11CertStorage();
            m_storage.DLLName = "aetpkss1.dll";
            m_storage.Open();
        }

SafeSign Token Administrator works ok.

Here is exception stack trace:

Thank you for contacting us.

Could you clarify if an older SBB version worked with this token and that you've updated SecureBlackbox_PKCS11Proxy.dll with a new one.

With version 9.1.215.0 SBB worked with this token. Just to be sure I have uniinstalled version 10 from this pc and installed 9.1.215 and it worked as expected.

And what about SecureBlackbox_PKCS11Proxy.dll? Did you update it?

I did not update it, as I said I have installed SBB 10 on clean PC (no version of SBB was installed before). When I uninstalled 10 and installed 9, I have changed SecureBlackbox_PKCS11Proxy.dll with old one and it worked.

Hi,

Is there follow-up on this error? We have the same error as indicated here,

SBPKCS11Base.EElPKCS11Error was unhandled
Message=PKCS#11 error CKR_ARGUMENTS_BAD in function C_GetSlotList

In our case the error occurse for Cryptoki.dll

We upgraded to secure blackbox version 10 and this is when the error started showing up in our Visual Studio.NET project.

Please advice.

Bernard,

The issue has been fixed in version 10.0.222 (SecureBlackbox 10 RC3) and shouldn't expose itself any more. Have you tried installing the freshest product update?

Hi,

We are using version 10.0.230.0

I cannot confirm if it is RC3 but I guess we have the last version.

Please re-check that you have updated the driver DLL (SecureBlackbox_PKCS11Proxy.dll) everywhere - i.e. the one stored next to your application, the one in System32 folder, and the one in SysWOW64 folder on x64 bit systems.
