Are there any examples of encrypting a stream using AES? I want to supply a password (not have one automatically generated) and use this to encrypt a file. I then want another user to be able to *decrypt* this file using the password (and not have to worry about the IV).

Please take a look at TElMessageEncryptor/TElMessageDecryptor classes. They allow to encrypt/decrypt data with generic key material (i.e., a raw sequence of bytes). This generic key can be obtained as a result of applying some hash function to the password string.
