I know SBB wraps the windows crypto API so I'm assuming that when a chain of trust is built for a certificate and the certificate or a certificate that is a link in the chain has previously been revoked by a CRL stored in the windows cert store the validation will fail? I just need to confirm whether this is the case. :-)

SecureBlackbox does NOT wrap CryptoAPI, at least no more than any other Win32 API.

CRLs from Windows are not used - TElX509CertificateValidator downloads and keeps CRLs internally.
