Hello,
I'm evaluating SBB libraries for java, with the purpose to create a simple application which digitally signs a text file and produces a p7m cades compliant file. I've searched for examples about this in Samples folder of trial package, but I've found only examples of signing with certificates and private keys stored in files. Can you give some hints? Can I sign using smart card with SBB java library?

Thanks in advance,
Laura

Thank you for interest in our products.

In Java edition smart cards are supported only starting from the 10th beta version that can be downloaded here: https://www.eldos.com/sbb/download-prerelease.php

As its still beta, the samples are not available yet.

Here is an article that describes how to access certificates stored on a smart card: http://www.eldos.com/documentation/sb...dware.html Its related to VCL/.NET editions but as we use the same code base for all editions, most classes and methods names are the same.

You can also refer to .NET edition samples. We tried to make Java edition very close to .NET one, so they can help you a lot.
