Hi there!

The FTP component fails to parse the root content of ftp.microsoft.com (anonymous user). I can see ParseException occur within the call to ListDirectory, but nothing is returned.

Quick check worked fine for me. Please tell me the edition (.NET, VCL, ActiveX, Java) and version of SecureBlackbox that you are using and also please show how you retrieve the listing (code snippet).

Sincerely yours

I think I understood the problem. Mask "*.*" won't show names without extension. We'll be able to fix this only in SBB 10, meanwhile you can use "*" mask instead.

We're using "*". Here is the code:

var items = new SBUtils.ArrayList();
client.ListDirectory("/", items, "*", true, true, true);

Here is the log:

ftp.microsoft.com > PWD
ftp.microsoft.com < 257 "/" is current directory.
ftp.microsoft.com > CWD /

This must be something specific to WP7 -- with .NET 4.0 the listing is retrieved fine.

We will check the issue on WP7 emulator probably on Monday.

BTW if you run the desktop sample (SimpleFTPS one), what listing do you get? Can you please copy it here? It can be that the server returns different listing format based on IP (European vs. US).

Sincerely yours

The issue was specific to Silverlight and only to certain combination of factors related to case conversion . We've fixed it and the fix will go to SBB 10, whose first beta is expected in a week.

If you link your license ticket to your account (the procedure is described in the registration e-mail), we'll be able to give more detailed information about upgrade path.

Sincerely yours
