I have geneated two sets of keys using PGP Keys in SecureBlockBox samples for this test.

Set A:
Public key :PA
Private Key : PRA

Set B:
Public key :PB
Private Key : PRB

I have used the above keys to test an application that is developed in .net. this application is using singEncrypt Medod in SecureBlockBOX framework.

To encrypt a file, I have used Set A:(PA) and for signature used key (PRB) in Set B. This process executed successfully and generated a encrypted file.

In order to verify the signature , I have used the Kleopatra application .
and performed the following operations

1. Imported the Set A (PA and PRB) keys.
2. Imported Set B (PB) keys.
3. Enterd the passprase.

The file was decrypted but there was an error

"Not enough information to check signature validity"

Please advice, Is i am missing any settings?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for contacting us.

First of all try to check if the signature can be verified using our samples. If the signature is detached then you should check if the actual signed data if available during the verification process. If this doesn't help then you should create a ticket in Helpdesk (https://www.eldos.com/helpdesk/index.php) and attach you keys, input and output files there so we can check them.

The better was is to check Kleopatra's application FAQ or contact their support. This can mean that signature is checked and valid, but level of trust for public key is unknown.

Thanks for the replay Mykola Olshevsky.

When i use Kleopatra application the warnning message is like this

test.text.asc -->test.txt: Not enough information to check signature validity.

Signed on 2012-03-23 07:49 by test@test.com (Key ID :xxxxxxx).
The validity of the signature cannot be verified.

I have used sign/encryption file and decrypt/verify files option on the Kleopatras application.

I have re generated the keys freshly using Kleoptra but the error stll same. Is i am missing some steps to enable on the keys . Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

Did you add those signing keys to trusted ones in Kleopatra?
