I'm using the DLL component for SecureBlackbox and trying to connect to FTPS Site.

I found the examples and copied the code into my form as follows

1 SftpClient.UserName = 'Test'
2 SftpClient.Password = 'Test'
3 SftpClient.EnableAuthenticationType SSH_AUTH_TYPE_PASSWORD
4 SftpClient.Address = 'Test.Testsite.org'
5 SftpClient.Port = 27
6 SftpClient.Open
7 If SftpClient.Active
8 msgbox 'opened'
9 else
10 msgbox 'not opened'
11 End

Line 3 caused an error, so I put a (4) at the end. based on the help screen I saw that stated...

Quote
SSH_AUTH_TYPE_PASSWORD 4 (0x04)

Is there something obvious I'm missing here.

I'm certain of the connectivity because I'm using WS_FTP_Pro to connect manually using these parameters.

Thanks for any help. I hope I can get your product to work for me.

Are you trying to connect to FTPS (FTP-over-SSL) or SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)? These are two completely different things. As said, FTPS is not available in activex edition at the moment. The above code is about SFTP.

Sincerely yours
Eugene Mayevski
